SUPERNE ROTE: THE STORY
November 2019: Maestro Mattia Maria Giusti, bringing together a small group of musicians made up of professionals and amateurs, gives life to the first anonymous nucleus of what, in the intentions of the founder himself, must become a wider musical reality, founded on the love for music is called to make its way in today's music scene. He organizes and directs the group's first rehearsals in small venues in the center of Rome.
2020: between the months of March and November, the turbulent political/health vicissitudes that overwhelm Italy abruptly interrupt the activity of the orchestra. The group disintegrates losing most of its elements. But the determination of its director is such that the month of December sees the new aggregation of a greater number of elements. The rehearsals resume working on the program left suspended months ago.
2021: the year of baptism, the year of debut. In spring, the orchestra takes the official name of "Orchestra Filarmonica Superne Rote" and on 27 June it makes its debut at the Teatro delle Muse in Rome with music by Mozart, Vivaldi and Pergolesi. The summer passes but with the beginning of autumn, the new restrictive policies impose a new long setback.
2022: new difficulties in restarting the group's activity. Discouragement, transfers abroad, work commitments push almost the entire group to no longer be able to take part in the project. It is the most difficult moment for the survival of the orchestra. Then the turning point. The recording of a promotional video intended for competitions brings to the happy meet between M° Giusti and the new young professors of the orchestra. Very solid relationships of friendship, esteem and mutual trust are established immediately. Then the invitation, full of hope, to join the languishing orchestra. The unshakable enthusiasm and granite determination of Maestro Giusti are combined with that of the new musicians. Superne Rote comes back to life. In the space of just two months, a few public performances will bring the name of the renewed orchestra and its conductor to some prestigious magazines such as Vanityfair and national newspapers such as Il Corriere della Sera
2023: the artistic path of the Superne Rote Philharmonic Orchestra continues briskly with the happy debut on all the main social platforms of the web and with the structuring of an increasingly rich and ambitious artistic path.
